London guide - London sights and attractions

London is a traditionally desired destination that never leaves its visitors dull or apathetic. It is a special place for anyone here to the city to people of different age and origin calls. London's places of interest can be divided those in two ways, which originate from centuries and the modern. When are should enjoy both types of places, but with a touch of precaution. We have a fear that after the beaten get the real taste of London.

One of the symbols of the city is the famous Tower of London. This fortress was a Royal Palace, a prison, a mint and even a Zoo during its 1000-year history. Today the tower houses the bloody Tower, the prison cell of Sir Walter Raleigh, the Crown jewels collection and the Royal armories. Another historic building is Westminster Abbey - the coronation and burial site of the British monarch since William of the conqueror. The Abbey is an architectural masterpiece of 13 to 16 centuries. Tower Bridge, other London landmarks, should also be passed.

Buckingham Palace is another must in London. This is the Royal London residence since Queen Victoria's time and contains a beautiful collection of furniture and decoration and priceless works of art. The Palace is surrounded by beautiful gardens and large park. We recommend a visit at St James' Park. It's very curious sight to see the change of the colorful guards. This ceremony is known as the changing of the foot guard and is very excited about. No doubt, should the historic St. Paul's Cathedral and the most recently popular Temple Church. The houses of Parliament and Big Ben are symptomatic of the city and should not be missed to. Don't miss walk down Whitehall leading from the parliamentary space to Trafalgar Square. The Government and Department building it should be seen.

We recommend, Greenwich-a picturesque countryside that set on the River Thames where starts the time to visit. The Greenwich market is a unique typical London niche that has kept a Royal Charter since the 17th century. The market changes with the days, but it is not the same with the numerous pleasant eating places nearby that we recommend.

The modern technology place of interest is illustrated by the British Airways London Eye. This is the world highest Ferris wheel at a height of 135 M and enjoy panoramic views on 40 km London attractions. The Ferris wheel ride the 32 high-tech offer enclosed capsules for 360 degree views of historic London. The gradual flight in the glass capsules is about 30 will love minutes.Thrill seeking ice skating at Somerset House by end of November until January. Here you can try ice climbing, a secure artificial wall eight meters of ice, which is a very low risk and safe adventure.

The famous Tate Modern Museum - Britain's National Museum of international contemporary art is one of the places that attract art lovers in London. The National Maritime Museum and Royal Observatory are another must for visitors to London. Let London without having the pleasure of spoiled a crossing of the London Millennium, pedestrian bridge over the River Thames. The modern reconstruction of the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre is a popular place of interest here, together with the prominent Bankside gallery that exhibits paintings from two historical art companies from the Royal Watercolour society and artist printmakers.

If a teenager would not we recommend London Dungeon. The tickets are unreasonably expensive and small children will get really fear within. The horror experience here is not really a cost value. Madame Tussauds wax museum is a kitsch collection of celebrity wax figures be skipped could, to. Let not your Chamber of horror to ruin your day.

The famous is located in the heart of Piccadilly London Trocaderro in town is the most exclusive restaurants, as it has been announced and it slightly more authentic atmosphere may be replaced by pubs with much. The same is true for the "weird" dance experience. We recommend you choose one of the many London Clubs, which are much cheaper and more beautiful. The other London cliche is hard rock Café - a famous food and meeting point is located on a street with high foot traffic. The place not much to your would add cultural appreciation of the city, we promise.
